House Volunteers: These volunteers provide hospitality for residents and guests by preparing meals, baking, cleaning, and answering the phone. Occasionally, House Volunteers are also asked to help with mailings and other administrative tasks. We ask that House Volunteers work one four-hour shift at least twice per month. Six House Volunteers are needed per day.
Special Projects Volunteers: A range of other opportunities exists for people to utilize their unique talents. Special Projects Volunteers may assist with office work, help with the spring and fall cleanup days, provide massage therapy, play piano or other musical instruments, or style hair. We invite you to contact the volunteer coordinator to find out how your skills may serve the residents and guests at Quiet Oaks.
Outdoor Volunteers: We need volunteers to garden, keep up the lawn, prune trees, and remove snow. Volunteers may choose to do one or all of these tasks.
